Community Outreach

🎉 On June 28, 2025, GI Desk was honored to participate in a major community outreach event organized by the Kariakoo Charity Foundation (KCF) — the impactful “Kariakoo ya Upendo: Season One.”

The event, held at Kariakoo, brought together over 1,000 community members for a day filled with compassion, education, and critical services aimed at uplifting vulnerable groups and promoting social welfare.

The following initiatives were covered:
✅ Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness and prevention education – addressing causes, consequences, and community-based solutions.
✅ Provision of psychosocial support and referral services for survivors of abuse.
✅ Collaboration with healthcare professionals to offer basic medical checkups, reproductive health education, and nutrition counseling.
✅ Public education on human rights, especially those of women, children, and marginalized populations.

We believe that true development cannot be achieved without a healthy, safe, and gender-just society. Our presence at this event enabled us to engage directly with the community, extend support, and amplify the call to end all forms of violence.
