COMMEMORATING MONTSERRAT’S NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER—A MESSAGE FROM GI DESK
On this National Day of Prayer, Reflection, and Thanksgiving, the leadership and team at GI-DESK extend our warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to the people of Montserrat.
As you pause to give thanks and seek divine guidance, may this sacred day bring renewed hope, unity, and spiritual strength to your nation.
We also encourage that today’s reflections include the ongoing struggle against Gender-Based Violence (GBV). While notable efforts have been made, GBV continues to affect many lives—often in silence—especially among women, girls, and vulnerable groups. Let this day of prayer be a moment to uplift survivors, recommit to justice, and seek lasting transformation in families and communities.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
—2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
May your prayers rise with purpose, and may your reflections inspire healing, action, and change.
Happy National Day of Prayer, Montserrat.
In solidarity and faith,
GI-DESK Leadership Team
